Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us about using Okaybot. By creating an account or using the service you are agreeing to them. If you do not agree, do not use Okaybot.
Who we are
Okaybot is owned and operated by Webcandy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07024033), of 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.
What Okaybot is
Okaybot is a hosted service that sits between the AI agents you run and your own X accounts. Your agent sends its requests to Okaybot rather than to X. Okaybot shows you what the agent wants to do, holds anything that publishes until you approve it (unless you have told it to stop asking for that agent on that account), enforces the spending caps you set, and keeps a record of every call. Calls that you allow are made to X on your behalf, as the X account you connected and with your consent.
What we sell is the control plane: the approvals, the caps, the guards and the record. We do not sell, resell, rent or sublicense access to the X API, and Okaybot is not a way to obtain it. You are a customer of Okaybot, not a licensee of X's API through us. We never give you, your agents or anyone else a token, key or credential for X's API, and nothing in the service exposes X's API to you directly.
Okaybot is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X. X's own terms, rules and prices apply to everything your agent does there, and they can change without notice to us.
The state of the service
Okaybot is new. Features described on this site as coming, planned or soon are not promised and are not part of what you are paying for; what you are buying is what the service does on the day you pay for it. We expect to change and add to it. See Availability below.
Your account
You sign in with your email address. We send an 8-digit code to it, the code proves the mailbox and signs you in, and you can add a passkey to skip the code next time. There is no password. You are responsible for keeping control of that mailbox and of any passkey you register, and for everything done in Okaybot under your account.
- Look after your agents' keys. Each agent has a key that lets it make calls through your Okaybot account. Treat it as you would any secret. If a key is lost or exposed, rotate it from the agent's setup page; the old key stops working at once.
- One person per account, one workspace per account. Do not share an account or its sign-in.
- Tell us if something looks wrong. If you see calls in your log that you did not make, rotate the key and contact us.
You must be at least 18 years old, or old enough to hold an X account and to enter into this agreement where you live, whichever is higher.
Your X account
Connecting an X account gives us a token from X that lets us make calls as that account. We use it only to make the calls you have allowed, we never expose it to your agents or to anyone else, and we discard it when you disconnect the account.
Connect only an account you are entitled to operate, and keep to X's terms and to X's rules on automation while you do. Okaybot applies a guard to replies, holding any that X's rule on automated replies appears not to permit for a person to review, but that guard is a help and not a guarantee: it does not make you compliant with X, and keeping to X's rules remains yours to do. You are responsible for everything published through Okaybot and for your agent's behaviour. Approving a post is publishing it.
What comes back from X through Okaybot - posts, profiles and everything in them - is licensed by X, not sold to you, and X's terms govern what you may do with it. In particular you may not:
- use it, or let anything else use it, to train or fine-tune a foundation or frontier model;
- redistribute or resell it, or pass it to a third party beyond what X's developer terms allow;
- combine it with other data to identify or profile people in ways X's terms prohibit.
If X suspends, limits or disconnects an account, we cannot restore it.
Plans and payment
Okaybot is sold as a monthly plan. Each plan sets a monthly limit on X usage, in dollars at X's own published prices, together with limits on the number of accounts and agents it covers. The plans and their limits are on the pricing page.
- Payment is in advance, by card, for each month. Cards are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. There is no free trial yet. If you would like to request a refund, write to [email protected]: we will refund the unused part of the month you have paid for, pro rata, less the X usage your plan has already covered that month.
- The limit is a limit, not a balance. It is a ceiling on how much X usage may go through your plan in a month. It is not a quantity you have bought, it cannot be topped up, sold, transferred, carried over or refunded, and nothing is credited to you. When a month's limit is reached, calls that would spend more are blocked until the next month begins or you move to a larger plan.
- X's published prices, with nothing added. What a call counts against your limit is X's published price for it, and nothing of ours. If X changes a price, what a call counts changes with it from that date, and calls already made keep the price they ran at.
- You can change plan at any time. Moving up takes effect at once; moving down takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for.
- If a payment fails we may retry it, and if it is still unpaid we may suspend the service until it is settled. We will tell you before we do.
- We may change our prices. We will give account holders at least 30 days' notice before a change affects an existing plan.
Caps and controls
Okaybot enforces the daily cap you set for each agent, and your plan's monthly limit, before a call leaves. We do our best to hold every call to them. Because X charges per result and the number of results is not always known in advance, a call may finish slightly over an estimate; in that case the difference is ours.
If Okaybot cannot be reached, calls are refused rather than allowed through. We do not promise that any call will succeed at X.
What you may not do
Do not:
- Break the law with Okaybot, or use it to help someone else break the law.
- Break X's rules with it, including X's rules on automation, spam, platform manipulation and abuse, or use it to evade a limit or a suspension that X has applied.
- Use anything read through Okaybot to train or fine-tune a model, or let anyone else do so.
- Impersonate another person or organisation, or connect an account you are not entitled to operate.
- Try to get into an account or workspace that is not yours.
- Circumvent a cap, a limit, an allowance or an approval, or try to.
- Run an agent you do not control, or point Okaybot at a workload you have not read and cannot answer for.
- Probe, scan or attack the service, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication or any other protection. Genuine security research is welcome if you tell us what you found at [email protected] first and give us a fair chance to fix it.
- Resell or rent access to the service, or operate it on behalf of third parties, without our written agreement.
We may block any call, and suspend any agent or account, that we reasonably believe breaks these terms or X's rules.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you already have in what you write, and in what you approve your agents to publish. What comes back from X is X's licensed material and is covered by the section on your X account above; you do not acquire ownership of it by reading it through us.
You give us permission to store and display your content only as far as running the service requires: to draw it on your screens, to keep the record described in the privacy policy, and to send it to X when you approve it. That permission ends when the content is deleted under our retention policy or you close your account.
You are responsible for what is published. Do not publish anything you do not have the right to publish, and do not publish anything unlawful or abusive.
What you answer for
Your agent acts on your instruction, under your X account, and we cannot see what you told it to do. So if someone brings a claim against us because of what you or your agent did through Okaybot - what was published, what was read, an account you were not entitled to operate, or a breach of X's terms - you will cover our reasonable losses, damages and legal costs in defending it. We will tell you promptly about any such claim, will not settle it without asking you, and will let you take over the defence if you want it.
This does not apply to anything caused by our own breach of these terms or our own negligence.
Availability
We want Okaybot to be up all the time, and we will not always manage it. We may need to take it down for maintenance, and things break unexpectedly. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we do not offer a service level guarantee unless we have agreed one with you separately in writing.
When Okaybot is unavailable your agents' calls are refused, not allowed through. That is by design.
We depend on X. X may change, price, restrict, throttle or withdraw its API, or suspend our access to it, at its own discretion and without notice to us. If that stops us providing the service, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund the unused part of the month you have paid for. That refund is the whole of what we owe you for it.
We may change, add or remove features. If we are going to remove something you rely on, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you first.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if payment fails, if we are legally required to, or if your account is being used in a way that puts other people, X or the service at risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.
You can close your account whenever you like, from the account page. When you do:
- Everything stops at once. Your workspace is put on emergency stop, so nothing is published and no agent's call goes through. Every agent key and every agent sign-in is ended, and every X account is disconnected, which tells X and discards its tokens.
- The account is held for a short while: at least 7 days, and to the end of any period you have paid for. Signing back in while it is held restores the account and everything recorded in it, without needing to ask us. It comes back stopped: you reconnect your X accounts, sign your agents in again and lift the stop yourself, so nothing that was waiting goes out before you have looked at it.
- Then it is erased for good, usually between 7 and 31 days after you close it: the account, its passkeys and its sign-in history, and its workspace with its agents, its disconnected accounts and the record of its calls. What is left after that is the billing record, which we are required to keep for a time; the privacy policy says how long.
- You can ask us to delete everything at any point, including the billing record where the law lets us, by writing to [email protected].
Money already paid for the current month is refunded on request, pro rata for the part you have not used and less the X usage already covered, as set out above.
No warranties
Okaybot is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms that are not expressly set out here, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. In particular we do not warrant that using Okaybot will keep you compliant with X's terms.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer where the law does not allow them to be limited.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for anything your agent does, for anything published through Okaybot, or for any action X takes against a connected account or against us.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
- Our total liability to you for any claim connected with Okaybot is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
None of that limits what you owe us under What you answer for, or what you owe us for your plan.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use Okaybot after a change takes effect means you accept it.
The rest
- If one part fails, the rest still stands. A clause a court will not enforce is cut back as far as it has to be, or struck out, and everything else carries on.
- We may transfer this agreement to a company that buys our business or our assets. You may not transfer it without our written agreement.
- Neither of us is liable for what neither of us can control: outages of infrastructure we do not run, network failures, acts of government, and the rest of it.
- These terms are the whole agreement between us about Okaybot, and replace anything said before it.
- We write to you at the email address on your account. You write to us at [email protected].
- Not waived by not enforced. If we do not enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
