delete:post

Takes one of the account's own posts down. A delete is a write: on an account set to Write: Ask me it waits for your okay and runs when the agent polls; on Write: Yes it runs at once, unless it would take the agent over its daily cap. When it waits, the card draws the post it would remove, struck through, so you answer the thing itself rather than an id.

You can take a post down yourself too, from its detail in Okaybot: Delete on X. A delete cannot be undone.

Fields

id Required. The numeric id of the post to delete, as a string
profile the account that owns the post. Optional when the agent has one
reason Required over MCP. One short sentence. This is what the person reads if it has to wait

X refuses a post the acting account did not write.

What comes back

{ "status": "done",
  "ref": "T7BQ2WME",
  "data": { "data": { "deleted": true } } }

A delete that waits comes back pending with a ref first, and answers this on the poll once a person allows it.

deleted: true is not proof the post existed

X answers true for a post that was already gone, so deleting something already deleted looks exactly like deleting something live. Read the post first if you need to know which it was.

It is charged either way: X bills a delete even though nothing is published.
