read:self
Reads the account being acted as, as X describes it. It takes no target, so use it to find that account's numeric id, its follower counts, or to check that the connection to X is still good.
The id is worth keeping: several of X's endpoints are addressed by numeric id rather than by handle, and this is the way to learn your own without guessing.
It is not the same question as whoami
okaybot_whoami is free and is about the agent: its name, its cap, what it has spent today.
This is a call to X about the X account, and it is charged.
